The Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation (SWF) is a non-profit conservation organization dedicated to ensuring the long and healthy survival of Saskatchewan’s wildlife.
The geocaching program run by the SWF is aimed at giving people a little extra incentive to visit the wonderful habitat and wild places that exist across the Province of Saskatchewan.
The SWF currently hosts 10 geocaches on lands maintained by or significant to the organization.
You’ll be hard-pressed to find all of the geocaches in one trip (see distribution map below), but it is always more fun to take some time and visit the widely diverse areas of this wonderful province.
“To ensure the wildlife legacy we leave to our children surpasses that which we inherited.”
Approximate Time for Completion: 2 - 3 days.
Cost of Geocoin: $10 (fully trackable on geocaching.com) available at the SWF Headquarters (see GC48WBB). No need to find the geocaches to get the geocoin. The black nickel multi level symbols are set off by translucent green enamel.
Pro Tip: The caches are fairly spread out, so best to make these caches part of a larger adventure!
